Everyone has a story to tell. I have several. They come to me when I’m lying in my bed, drinking a cup of coffee, or walking to class. I mull them around and let the characters tell me what they want to say. Sometimes I find myself pondering alternative universes, or what the origin of a tear might be. I don’t look for inspiration. It finds me, and the keyboard does the rest.

My real story begins in Whitsett, North Carolina where I grew up. I have always loved to write and tell stories. It’s just part of me. I wrote my first book, Guardians of the Gate: The Disappearance of Code, when I was in middle school. You can find it here on Amazon.

The book involves the main character’s journey into the afterlife and her role in a struggle against evil. It is just one of what I plan to be a trilogy of stories.

At present, I’m studying communications at UNC-Wilmington, and when I’m not studying or writing the next book, I enjoy writing stories about thoughts that come to me, or things I see as I go about my day.

Please take a look at my site to learn more about me. I’m hoping to find literary representation as I move forward, so if you would like to learn more, please feel free to reach out to me.
